Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound studies using good judgment and ultrasound equipment.
- Assess findings in ultrasound examinations and assist radiologists and staff physicians in interpreting ultrasound studies.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Graduate from a fully accredited Sonography program
- Active unencumbered Sonography Tennessee state license
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of Ultrasound Tech experience
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Passionate about patient care
