Join Our Team as a Pediatric Nurse - PRN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse - PRN to join our team at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center. As a Pediatric Nurse - PRN, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care to children and families in our community.

About the Role

This PRN position offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a Pediatric Nurse - PRN, you will be responsible for delivering patient care based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from newborns to adolescents, and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Acute care RN experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
