ProSidian Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Management Expert to join our team. As a Geospatial IT Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support for IT systems management, including desktop, server, and network administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows NAS devices, Windows servers (Windows Server 2016 and beyond), Linux servers (e.g. CentOS, Redhat, Debian), and numerous desktop/laptop PCs and workstations.
  • Provide system support and administration for IT infrastructure operations.
  • Implement and maintain data provisioning applications, including expertise in relevant scripting and programming languages.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and rapidly identify and implement solutions.
  • Assess existing IT systems, analyze potential risks, and implement strategies to enhance computing capacity and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to computer science or a related discipline and seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience managing high-capacity computing and storage environments.
  • OR Graduate degree related to computer science or a related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience managing high-capacity computing and storage environments.
  • OR PhD degree related to computer science or a related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience managing high-capacity computing and storage environments.
