DispatchHealth Management is seeking dedicated Mobile Emergency Medical Technicians to enhance our expanding clinical workforce. We are in search of candidates who possess excellent organizational abilities and customer service expertise to operate within our CLIA certified mobile laboratory, delivering direct patient care while acquiring invaluable experience. This dynamic role in mobile healthcare comes with comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate under the guidance of licensed Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Perform patient evaluations, monitor vital signs, initiate IVs, and conduct blood draws (in accordance with state regulations), apply splints, provide wound care, and conduct EKGs
- Manage and utilize point-of-care laboratory instruments
- Support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in daily mobile healthcare operations
- Record patient care activities and oversee inventory management
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Technician with IV Certification and EMT License (essential credential)
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Capability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate multiple flights of stairs with ease
- Willingness to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays
