Job Summary

Assured Nursing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a pediatric intensive care unit. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose respiratory disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a pediatric intensive care unit
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
