Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate work activities to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Inspect work and projects regularly to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and administer company policies and procedures as delegated by management.
  • Ensure plans and performance of various functions within the organization meet and exceed management expectations.
  • Report all safety-related incidents and participate in incident investigation as assigned.
  • Communicate with construction contractors regarding issues including safety performance and project scheduling.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining project and material records.
  • Pre-inspect, operate, and respect company equipment and tools.
  • Monitor inventory and location of equipment.
  • Operate small hand tools and provide other construction-type labor in projects.
  • Assist in construction, repair, and replacement of frac tanks, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Maintain customer/vendor relationships while establishing good working relationships.
  • Prepare necessary supplies, tools, and other equipment for transport to the worksite.
  • Operate vehicles, mechanical devices, and equipment on and off the worksite.
  • Handle pipe, pipe fittings, hoses, and small tools.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • One to two years of experience as a working supervisor.
  • Working knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise 2 or more employees on a crew.
  • Ability to work various schedules including nights/weekends and local/regional travel.
Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Combination of education, experience, and training may be substituted for these requirements.
  • Valid Driver's License.
