About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Automotive Technician to join our team at Goodyear's Auto Service center in Somerset, NJ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including brake repairs, fluid exchanges, and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs on vehicles
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Report any safety issues immediately to management
  • Maintain strict adherence to Company policy on vehicle care and operation
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of automotive experience, including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ASE Certification
  • Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
