POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves the operation and upkeep of single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks and forklifts for the timely delivery and collection of agronomy and energy products. The aim is to support the company's growth objectives while adhering to safety and operational standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely operate and maintain all assigned vehicles, ensuring compliance with established safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles and equipment, including pre-trip checks for fuel, oil levels, tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Follow the preventative maintenance schedule and maintain a clean vehicle to uphold a professional image.
  • Load and unload products in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure that all deliveries and pickups are executed according to company standards and that all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Maintain company equipment to meet organizational standards and adhere to the company’s Uniform Policy.
  • Comply with GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, as well as Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks as required.
  • Complete other assigned duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Candidates should demonstrate essential skills such as business acumen, teamwork, effective communication, customer service orientation, decision-making abilities, and a commitment to professional development.

Applicants must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid CDL License with necessary endorsements, a valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record. The ability to work extended hours based on business needs is also essential.

Potential candidates should be prepared for occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions, noisy environments, and other physical demands, including lifting up to 100 pounds. Participation in required training related to GROWMARK's policies and procedures is expected.
