Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one care to patients in their homes, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of care plans and to address any concerns or questions.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a practicing nurse, with a strong background in home healthcare or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
