About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or radiation therapy
