Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a leading provider of behavioral health and chemical dependency services in the Mid-South region.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit, utilizing the nursing process and integrating into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
- Prescribe, coordinate, and delegate nursing care, promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
- Assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- One year prior psychiatric experience in mental health nursing, with licensure and registration by the Mississippi Board of Nursing as a registered nurse.
- Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, and crisis management.
