Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammograms and other breast imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms, Wire Needle Localizations, Stereotactic Breast Biopsies, Galactograms, and Quality Assurance
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure accurate documentation of patient medical records
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication skills
  • Cover all sites as necessary
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology Associates degree program or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) year Mammography experience preferred
  • ARRT(M) certified or eligible (If eligible, must become ARRT(M) certified within two years of employment) required
  • South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association certified required
  • American Heart Association Healthcare provider course with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
