Position Overview:
The Patient Registration Specialist is responsible for managing the admission and registration processes for individuals entering the healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with all organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process patient admissions and registrations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Utilize admitting equipment such as imprinters, embossers, CRTs, printers, and photocopy machines.
- Handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient typing skills (minimum 35 wpm) and familiarity with PC keyboarding.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and health insurance processes, including Managed Care requirements.
- Preferred experience in a business-related role for at least one year.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Skills:
- Ability to operate various admitting equipment.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
