The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to prepare written geotechnical reports.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing geotechnical testing reports for clients
  • Analyzing and reviewing testing reports for commercial, industrial, retail, government, and residential projects
  • Project coordination and project management of geotechnical work
  • Managing geotechnical projects through their lifecycle
  • Assisting project professionals with project execution, proposal, and report preparation
  • Coordinating required testing/sampling with drill crews and assisting with field activities as necessary
  • Interpreting field data and assigning laboratory testing
  • Communicating results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clients

Requirements for the role include:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Professional Engineer
  • Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) for the State of Texas
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required; Master's in civil engineering is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Texas driver license
