Green View Solutions LLC is seeking a proficient Stump Removal Specialist to become part of our dedicated team. In this position, you will be tasked with operating stump grinding machinery to effectively and safely eliminate tree stumps from both residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate will possess experience in handling heavy equipment, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and be committed to achieving exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize stump grinding machinery to extract tree stumps from various locations, including residential properties, parks, and commercial sites.
  • Transport equipment safely to job locations and set up machinery in compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Evaluate each stump removal task to identify the most effective and efficient method, taking into account factors such as stump size, location, and surrounding landscape.
  • Protect adjacent properties, structures, and landscaping from damage during stump removal activities.
  • Operate machinery with precision to ensure thorough stump grinding while minimizing disruption to the surrounding area.
  • Monitor equipment performance and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal functioning and longevity of machinery.
  • Adhere to safety regulations consistently, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate job schedules, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job specifics, equipment usage, and any encountered issues.
  • Assist Arborists with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposal.
  • Learn techniques and proper tool usage from senior or more experienced crew members.
  • Safely operate tools and equipment such as chippers and chainsaws for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work sites are kept clean and free of hazards.
  • Inspect equipment and tools, performing repairs and maintenance as necessary.
  • Comply with company and environmental regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience as a stump grinder, tree groundsman, or in a similar role.
  • Strong physical fitness, vision, and hearing.
  • Ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and stoop.
  • Capability to transport heavy items.
  • Excellent balance and depth perception.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • A positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday

Experience Required:
