We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospital Medicine team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. This is a full-time position working nights, with a 7-on/7-off schedule from 5pm to 3am.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care as a member of the Hospital Medicine team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat patients with acute medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform other medical procedures as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- ACAGNP certification
- 1-3 years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of acute medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
