About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Associate to join our team at ABM Industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including offices, common areas, and facilities.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining buildings/facilities
- FOLLOWING procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- NOTIFYING Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- ESTABLISHING and maintaining effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- COMPLYING with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- PERFORMING various cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- MULTITASKING and being able to prioritize tasks effectively
As a Building Maintenance Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our facilities.
