We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our Product & Technology Team at Procore Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust integration solutions across our enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex integration solutions using Workato and Camunda across our suite of enterprise solutions, including Salesforce, Netsuite, and Workday.
- Utilize deep expertise in Camunda modeler, system flows, and Workato recipes, connectors, triggers, and actions to build and optimize integrations that meet business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring they follow integration best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, define integration architectures, and deliver comprehensive solutions that align with business objectives.
- Regularly oversee, diagnose, and optimize integration processes to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all integration architectures, processes, and workflows, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging integration technologies and continually explore ways to enhance and modernize integration strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, or comparable work experience.
- 12+ years of experience combined in programming, integration design, and implementation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices as they relate to integration deployment.
- Experience working and developing integrations using platforms like Workato, Camunda, Mulesoft, and Snaplogic.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
- In-depth experience in integration architecture and design, particularly with Camunda. Proven track record of handling large-scale integrations involving Salesforce, NetSuite, and Workday.
- Experience in designing and implementing workflow orchestration using Camunda, including creating BPMNs for automating business processes. Familiarity with developing reusable components for workflows is preferred.
- Experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design, Hibernate, and Spring framework.
