Job Summary

The Town of Little Elm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our aquatics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our waterpark, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the waterpark, including the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and attractions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed, and that our guests and staff are protected from harm.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the waterpark, including revenue collection, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as recreation, leisure studies, or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in aquatics management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, as well as Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and recreation management software.
Working Conditions

The Aquatics Operations Manager will work in an office and indoor/outdoor aquatics environment, with potential exposure to heavy chemical presence. The position requires the ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
