As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will be a beacon of positivity, dedicated to creating enriching experiences that align with our mission to make a significant impact on children, their families, and the broader community.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support less experienced educators, demonstrating best practices and offering constructive feedback.
  • Classroom Oversight: Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging educational setting.
  • Role Modeling: Act as a positive example, promoting a growth mindset and a passion for learning among students.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting strategies to cater to the diverse needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.
  • Safe Learning Environment: Establish a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can flourish through exploration and play.
  • Parent Engagement: Maintain consistent communication with families, providing updates on their children's progress and experiences through various channels.
  • Center Collaboration: Work alongside center staff and leadership to meet goals related to enrollment and engagement, contributing to the overall success of the center.
  • Relationship Development: Build strong connections with families and colleagues, fostering a dynamic environment where learning and play seamlessly integrate.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Education: An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Compliance: Must adhere to state-specific guidelines for the role.
