Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. As a primary care physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality outpatient patient care and serving as the primary physician for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality outpatient patient care, emphasizing the doctor-patient relationship.
- Offer outpatient services as needed, or arrange for inpatient care at local hospitals when hospitalization is required.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with other specialists and staff to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation.
- Provide leadership on infectious disease issues and contribute to quality improvement plans.
- Practice within the scope of family medicine and adhere to accepted standards of practice.
- Follow our organization's policies and procedures, including HIPAA and communication guidelines.
Requirements:
- Board certification or eligibility in family medicine.
- Medical license in Minnesota.
- 6 years of patient care experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of public health and community medicine models (desired).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
