Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at GEODIS. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reads production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, and/or distributed
  • Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
  • Assembles customer orders from stock, stages orders, and/or conveys orders to packing stations or shipping departments
  • Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, and stages products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment
Requirements
  • High school education or GED equivalency
  • Minimum 3 to 6 months experience and/or training in a warehouse environment
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is required
  • Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to learn proper operations of warehouse equipment
