Job Title: Travel Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations across the country.

Job Summary:

This Travel Nurse RN position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. The shift is 12 hours, days. We are looking for a Medical Surgical RN with 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
  • Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
  • Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
  • Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
  • Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
  • Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
  • Educate patients on surgical procedures.
  • Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
Requirements:
  • ACLS certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • 3 years of experience as a Medical Surgical RN.
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
