Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional patient care and support our team in delivering the highest quality dental services. As a Dental Hygienist at Dental Care on Stanhaven, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest modern technology, choose your new instruments, and enjoy a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work closely with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene procedures and best practices through ongoing education and training.
  • Participate in our hygiene mentor program to enhance your clinical skills and provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in MD and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
  • New Graduate or years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
