Position Overview

The role of an Exploitation Analyst is pivotal in the realm of cybersecurity. These professionals possess a comprehensive skill set akin to that of DNEAs, yet their primary focus is on the intricacies of exploitation.

Key Responsibilities

Exploitation analysts are tasked with:

  • Maintaining an advanced understanding of adversary networks.
  • Analyzing network defenses and identifying vulnerabilities.
  • Developing detailed exploitation plans and implementing operational modifications.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph.
  • Experience: A minimum of thirteen (13) years of relevant experience with an Associate's Degree in fields such as Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Alternatively, eleven (11) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, nine (9) years with a Master's Degree, or seven (7) years with a Doctorate in similar fields.
Relevant Experience

Candidates should have substantial experience in:

  • Computer or information systems design and development.
  • Programming and cybersecurity practices.
  • Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Computer forensics and information assurance.
  • Systems engineering and network administration.

Military training in relevant areas may also be considered towards the experience requirement.
