Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Assistant to join our team at Embassy Suites Houston Downtown. As a Breakfast Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized breakfast buffet area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet area, ensuring a high level of presentation and organization.
  • Prepare and replenish food and beverage items as needed, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel standards and sustainability practices.
  • Perform side work as required, including cleaning and restocking the buffet area.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A current Food Handler's certificate or ServSafe certification is required.

The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, bending, and reaching. You may be required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and distractions.
