Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at First Division Consulting. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex systems engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of systems engineering solutions for complex programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of systems engineering principles and practices
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, engineering drawings, and system interface requirements
  • Participate in program reviews, design reviews, and IPTs as a technical expert
  • Evaluate design efforts to ensure integration of all engineering disciplines and adequacy of analysis performed
  • Develop and review test plans, procedures, and reports for technical adequacy
  • Review and evaluate system performance against specification requirements
  • Initiate engineering change proposals and waivers/deviations as required

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in science, computer science, or engineering, or 10 years of experience as a system engineer in lieu of a degree
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting Government programmatic planning, coordination, and execution of the cost, schedule, and performance of all aspects of Government programs
  • Experience in systems engineering of large complex Systems of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures
  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Management Process and Implementation, as applied to the Marine Corps Acquisition process throughout all life cycle phases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the design and/or architecture of RF communications, or surveillance systems
  • Experience in the design, integration, and/or testing of tactical equipment
  • Experience in ground-based surveillance and/or sensing systems of use in the Marine Corps
  • Experience in IT systems and radar systems
