We are seeking a skilled Sushi Line Cook to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Sushi Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking sushi dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook sushi dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure high-quality ingredients and presentation standards are maintained at all times
- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet customer demand
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to achieve smooth service
- 1+ years of experience working as a sushi line cook
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi preparation techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Associate or bachelor's degree in culinary arts
- Experience handling sashimi-quality fish
- Experience preparing sushi in a high-volume environment
