We are seeking a skilled Ford Technician to join our team at James Hodge Ford (Idabel) in Idabel, Oklahoma. As a Certified Ford Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable dealership and utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine and diagnose vehicles to identify areas requiring repair
  • Discuss repair options with shop foreman or service advisor to determine the best course of action
  • Communicate additional service requests to service advisor to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Plan work in cooperation with shop foreman to optimize repair time and efficiency
  • Provide labor estimates to service advisor to keep customers informed
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisor to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation to ensure quality repairs
  • Complete detailed documentation for client repairs to maintain accurate records
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees to help develop their skills and knowledge
  • Attend company and factory training to stay up-to-date on the latest technical developments
  • Stay current with factory technical bulletins to ensure knowledge of the latest repair techniques
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations to ensure compliance

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Operator Driver's License & State Inspection License

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
