The Vascular Surgery units at Albany Medical Center are dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with acute and chronically ill surgical conditions. Our patient population includes those with vascular disease and surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Vascular Surgery unit. As a Vascular Surgery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients with vascular disease and surgical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York
  • Experience in vascular surgery or medical-surgical nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
