Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

Job Overview:

The EKG Technician plays a crucial role in the Cardiology department, ensuring that diagnostic services related to cardiac evaluations are performed accurately and efficiently. This position involves working with both inpatients and outpatients, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting electrocardiograms (EKGs) on patients as directed.
  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe environment for patients.
  • Documenting patient information and test results accurately.
  • Collaborating with medical staff to interpret EKG results.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Minimum Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in cardiopulmonary services, including familiarity with medical terminology.

Licensure/Certification:

Minimum Required:

  • CPR Certification within three months of hire.
