We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Oncology team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
About the RoleThe Patient Care Technician will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide basic care to patients, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist licensed clinical staff with treatments and procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of patient care experience preferred
