Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and supervise electrical repairs to enhance plant operations and equipment reliability, adhering to all safety protocols, including LOTOTO and Confined Space regulations.
  • Manage plant automation and control systems, including HMI and PLC configurations, controls networks, and safety systems such as WonderWare and RS Logix.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure efficient workflow and minimize disruptions to production quality and output.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on production and safety equipment.
  • Oversee preventive electrical and electronic maintenance according to established guidelines.
  • Assist in planning and installation of new electrical and electronic systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Complete necessary documentation for task completion, tool and parts requests, and management reporting.
  • Document and manage changes and improvements in systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of environmental abatement plan maintenance tasks.
  • Research and program all instrumentation at the facility, ensuring critical spare parts are readily available.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to maintain effective operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with higher education or exceptional performance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical technician in an industrial environment, with training in PLC and three-phase power systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members of varying skill levels.
  • Capability to work from elevated positions in diverse weather conditions.
  • Proficiency in operating most equipment on-site.
  • Basic computer skills and mathematical abilities, including fractions and elementary geometry.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, electrical schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.
