Company Overview: Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a leading organization in the machining sector, seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator.
Position Summary: The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for operating both conventional and CNC press brake machines to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic components according to precise specifications.
Shift Details:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to ascertain dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
- Utilize machine theory and operational procedures to effectively manage various equipment and processes.
- Ensure parts are machined to specifications, verifying conformance with tolerances as fine as one ten-thousandth of an inch.
- Monitor machinery for malfunctions or deviations from specified tolerances.
- Propose enhancements to processes, tooling, and equipment for efficiency improvements.
- Conduct preventive and corrective measures to promote ongoing process and quality enhancements.
- Perform quality checks and self-inspections according to technical documentation, utilizing measuring instruments as necessary.
- Maintain accuracy in product and routing information.
- Contribute to the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Execute routine maintenance on machinery as outlined in maintenance protocols.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in machine operation or related industry preferred.
- Experience with press brake machinery is advantageous.
