Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill is seeking a highly skilled Dietary Manager to oversee the food services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the dining rooms, ensuring high-quality service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective strategies for food service operations, ensuring continuity and quality of services.
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to develop and evaluate regular and therapeutic diets.
- Provide person-centered education on food and nutrition to facility staff.
- Assume opening and closing responsibilities for the food services department.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with residents, staff, and other departments.
- Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Direct and support the work of the Dietary Manager, Personal Care Servers, and Dietary Workers.
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field preferred.
- Three years' experience in dietary management, with Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in computer applications.
