Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Lifeguard to join our team at the Sulphur Springs YMCA. As a Senior Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and program participants in and around our aquatic facilities. This includes responding to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all members and program participants.
  • Respond to emergencies and administer first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including the pool area and surrounding facilities.
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations, and ensure compliance with YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid.
  • Must have a strong understanding of aquatic safety and emergency response procedures.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
