This position requires a strong background in strategic logistics analysis, critical thinking, strategic communication, technical writing, and relationship management. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing speeches, slide decks, and talking points for Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members for use at a wide range of internal and external engagements.
  • Writing articles for publication in professional journals on behalf of Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members.
  • Developing and executing a strategic communication strategy across varying media.
  • Responding to varying requests for information – sent from Congress or other agencies within the Department of Defense – and performing qualitative and quantitative logistics analysis in tandem with multiple agencies to support exhaustive responses.
  • Performing any ad hoc analysis as requested by Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members.
  • Executing briefings on performed analysis before Headquarters, Department of the Army General Officers/Senior Executive Service Members.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree required. Degree in supply chain management, political science, public policy, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • This position requires five (5) or more years of work experience.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-directed and detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, with the ability to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
  • This position requires an active security clearance at the SECRET level. You must be a US citizen.
Targeted Salary Range

$89,000-$120,000
