In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality printed materials that meet our clients' exacting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Precision Setup and Operation: Accurately set up rails, print, and die-cut sections on flexographic presses, adhering to established procedures for optimal performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of dies before and after each run, ensuring their integrity and making necessary repairs to maintain print quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Verify the secure placement and tightening of all bolts for cutting dies, contributing to the smooth operation of the press. Monitor anilox rolls for any signs of damage and promptly report issues.
  • Production Optimization: Maximize equipment utilization by operating the machinery at its full capacity and speed while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide training and guidance to First Helpers, Flexo Stackers, and Bundlers on machine operation and job duties. Actively participate in cross-training initiatives to broaden your skillset.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete accurate and timely production reports, including data on machine performance, safety incidents, and quality metrics. Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for prompt repairs.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Switch duties with the First Helper as needed, demonstrating a willingness to contribute to the overall efficiency of the production process.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
