About the Role:
We're seeking highly motivated and compassionate RN Residents to join our team at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital. As a RN Resident, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurse educators, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition during admission and throughout their stay, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, documenting administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and notify providers and intervene as necessary in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them proactively.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and possible side effects, ensuring complete understanding.
What You'll Need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience required; some travel may be needed for training
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and education support.
