Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Hospital Social Worker to join our team at HexaQuEST Global - Healthcare. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive social services to patients and their families, promoting optimal health outcomes and supporting them through challenging times.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement holistic care plans to address the physical, emotional, and environmental needs of patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Provide education and counseling on various aspects of healthcare, empowering patients to take an active role in their well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • State of Alaska license at Master's level (LMSW) required or eligibility.
  • Valid Alaska State driver's license is required.
  • Basic knowledge of computer use.
  • Preferring experience working in cross-cultural settings with bilingual language skills in English & Yup'ik.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write at the college level, effectively presenting information in individual and group settings.
