Job Overview

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality patient care to infants, children, and adolescents in their homes. About the Role

This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can work independently in a home environment. As an Aveanna Healthcare LPN, you will be responsible for delivering and documenting skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians orders. You will also participate in educating patients and family members on disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.

Responsibilities

* Provide one-to-one patient care in a home setting
* Execute physicians' prescribed plans of care and compliantly document care provided in electronic records
* Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
* Perform patient assessments and coordinate care
* Educate patients and family members on health promotion, teaching, and training

Requirements

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
* Current CPR certification
* Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
