About the Role

We are seeking a skilled O&P Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Hanger Fabrication Network. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for building and customizing medical products for our patients, including orthotics and prosthetics. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, adhering to company quality and quantity standards.
  • Order and receive inventory, and perform other related tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED; no experience required.
    • Preferred: 1 year of related experience working within environments that include machinery, carpentry, design, fabrication, sewing, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, squat, and crouch, communicate with other employees, and operate machinery.   • Knowledge and hand skills needed to fabricate and repair prostheses (artificial limbs) and orthoses (orthopedic braces) according to specifications.
  • Mechanical ability and hand-eye coordination to use laboratory tools safely and effectively.

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
