We are currently in search of a Fumigation Technician/Apprentice to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Fumigation Technician/Apprentice at Western Pest Services, you will receive comprehensive training and tools to excel in the pest control and fumigation sector. If you are motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and are eager to start or enhance your career, this role may be ideal for you.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Assisting in the fumigation process, including sealing, tarping, introducing fumigants, conducting readings, and aerating.
• Utilizing safety monitoring equipment to perform readings.
• Reading, comprehending, and adhering to labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for materials used.
• Inspecting, maintaining, and properly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Following established safety protocols, including labels, DOT regulations, and client-specific guidelines.
• Being physically capable of bending, crawling, lifting, and carrying for extended periods.
• Climbing ladders and working at heights.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CDL with HAZMAT endorsement is a plus or the ability to obtain it.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime is required.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must meet the physical requirements of the job and safely perform the following duties with or without accommodations, as well as obtain the necessary pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company-sponsored):

• Safely using a ladder within the manufacturer's weight limits.
• Accessing crawl spaces, attics, confined areas, rooftops, etc.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Salary Range: $ per hour
