Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas. As a Physical Therapist, you will serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing interventions for hospitalized patients according to age-specific needs.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess the needs of patients, developing individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed to ensure timely and safe care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment conferences, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance patient care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program, MS (PT) required, DPT preferred.
  • Maintains continuing education credits as required by the State.
  • Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners licensure and BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 1-year Physical Therapy experience in a hospital setting.
