Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team at Summit Fleet. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in growing our business by identifying and qualifying potential customers. Your primary goal will be to generate qualified leads and set up meetings for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and Research: Identify potential customers through research, social media, and industry resources.
  • Outbound Outreach: Make cold calls, send emails, and utilize social media to engage prospects and generate interest in our products/services.
  • Set Appointments: Schedule meetings or product demos with qualified leads for the sales team to further engage.
  • Maintain CRM: Update and maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with sales executives to understand target markets, ideal customer profiles, and refine outreach strategies.
  • Follow-up: Conduct follow-ups on leads that are not yet ready to engage, ensuring continuous engagement.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualified meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (B2B sales experience is a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage prospects effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to handle rejection and persist in achieving goals.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the sales profession.
