Backflow Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Master or Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Backflow Technology, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of backflow prevention assemblies in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland area.
Job Responsibilities- Assembly Testing and Certification: Conduct thorough tests and certifications of backflow prevention assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Repair and Installation: Troubleshoot and repair faulty assemblies, as well as install new ones to maintain the highest level of service for our customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet their expectations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare accurate and detailed documentation of testing results, certification, and repairs, ensuring timely submission to regulatory bodies and clients.
- A current Virginia State Backflow Prevention Device Worker License (VA DPOR) or in the process of obtaining.
- A Masters or Journeyman Plumber License or in the process of obtaining.
- Previous experience in plumbing, maintenance, or related fields.
- A valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- The ability to pass a satisfactory background check with drug screening and obtain a security clearance.
- The capacity to handle a physical workload and work efficiently without supervision.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication, and excellent time management skills.
