Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the auditing process and ensure the effective execution of financial audits.
  • Prepare audit observations and communicate findings to substantiate issues discovered during field assessments.
  • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to junior auditors and audit staff.
  • Supervise associates and interns throughout the auditing process.
  • Examine financial statements and pinpoint audit-related concerns.
  • Establish generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Engage with management to collect essential information.
  • Evaluate and address challenges encountered by staff auditors, providing recommendations.
  • Conduct various risk assessments and control evaluations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior auditors.
  • Execute and guide periodic evaluations and testing of controls.
  • Educate and support internal auditors and control analysts.
  • Ensure audits are completed promptly and reports are submitted to the auditing manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role such as Accountant, Senior Auditor, or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing practices and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team of junior auditors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks and internal control practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude for presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with information systems concepts and terminology.
  • Robust analytical skills.
