Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist

Tact Staff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Travel Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography tests and developing the results to produce high-quality breast images for radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Mammography Tests: Conduct mammography tests and develop the results to produce high-quality breast images for radiologists.
  • Evaluate Patient History and Physicians Orders: Evaluate patient history and physicians orders to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
  • Assist Physicians in Special Procedures: Assist physicians in special procedures as needed to ensure that all procedures are performed to the standards of PHHS.
  • Process Quality Control Checks: Process quality control checks on systems in accordance with American College of Radiology, including notifying supervisor of maintenance needs to ensure equipment functions properly.
  • Maintain Proper Documentation: Maintain proper documentation on the Radiology Information System to track the procedures performed on each patient.
  • Communicate with Patients: Communicate and consult with patients informing them of procedures to be performed to ensure that patients are as comfortable as possible.
  • Maintain a Positive Working Relationship: Maintain a positive working relationship with employees, medical staff, patients, and visitors to ensure efficient work processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 2 years of mammography experience.
  • Certification: ARRT (M) certified.
  • License: MRT certificate required.
  • Travel Experience: Travel experience strongly encouraged.
  • Skills: Must be able to demonstrate time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Must be able to demonstrate advanced computer skills.
  • Positioning Ability: Must be able to demonstrate routine to complex positioning ability to achieve images which meet American College of Radiology criteria for appropriate views.
