Job Summary:
Bristow Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Helicopter Pilot to provide support to the offshore oil and gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Bristow operational standards and regulations.
- Ensure safety and customer service are prioritized in all aspects of the job.
- Manage passenger movements, aircraft movements, briefings, and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance.
- Complete necessary flight planning paperwork, preflight, fueling, and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times.
- Report aircraft mechanical irregularities and ensure aircraft airworthiness before, during, and after flights.
- Facilitate communications with customers and represent Bristow Group in a professional manner.
- Work primarily in the GOM offshore region, with occasional dispatch to other locations as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on Bristow operational and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold a 1st class medical certificate.
- Hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument rating.
- Meet minimum requirements outlined by 14 CFR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in the offshore oil and gas environment.
- ATP.
- 1,500 hours PIC helicopter.
- 100 hours offshore.
- 100 hours within the preceding 12 months.
