We are seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to join our team at Elior North America. As a key member of our corrections team in Ogden, UT, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and supervise the work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards in our kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and service.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen procedures and protocols to maintain high-quality food standards.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute menu development and implementation.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook supervisor or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive kitchen culture.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
